Former Geto Boys member and Houston rap legend Willie D has pleaded guilty today to fraud.
The Former rap star scammed over 29 people out of $132,000, by targeting those looking to buy i-phones and other electronics on ebay. The victims of the scam all ordered the items in bulk and then received nothing but phony tracking numbers.
Federal agents took Willie D into custody at the Bush/Intercontinental airport back in may (2009)
He was later released on bond in July and entered a plea of not guilty to 15 counts of fraud.
The former rap legend will be sentenced on April 23rd and could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
