Recent reports have emerged stating that a lawsuit has been filed against Compton rapper Game after the claimant company have claimed that they have been cut out of royalties after signing the Compton star.

The Hollywood Reporter has stated that Desperado Entertainment is looking to stop the R.E.D Album in it’s tracks, making an August 24th release date tentative to say the least.

The filed lawsuit states that Game and his associates are being paid vast sums in royalties but they have not received their cut

Lawyers working with Desperado have also made accusations against UMG stating that they have attempted to work with UMG to resolve the situation but had no results.

The lawsuit filed by Desperado Entertainment is threatening to be a major spanner in the works for Game after Desperado are set to seek damages, an injunction and an immediate advanced payment of $275,000 for the R.E.D Album.

It Has been reported that the release of Compton rapper Game’s fourth studio album ‘ The R.E.D Album’.

The first release date stated was June 29th but is now reported to be hitting stores on July 6th.

Game’s latest single ‘Ain’t no doubt about it’ will be released on iTunes on Tuesday May 18th.

The R.E.D Album is produced by Pharell and Dr Dre, and will be released on Aftermath/Star Track label from Interscope.

Things looked set up nicely for a chart battle between compton star Game and Canadian newcomer Drake, with both having June 15th set as release dates for their albums.

However Game’s R.E.D Album has been pushed back, whilst Drake’s looks set on course.

Before the R.E.D Album was pushed back, Game looked forward to the rivalry which would have followed,

Speaking to AllHipHop.com Game says,

“It’s all in the love of Hip-hop I’m a fan of Drake, It’s not even a competition its more like go out and get both albums because they’re both good.”

Although the Compton star did state that he felt that Drake would probably sell more at this time, due to his distinct vibe in the music world right now,

“Usually I say I will sell more but that ni**a’s buzz is very loud but we’ll see. One thing about it though I’m about to pound the streets so whoever is on his team better be ready because that’s the competition. 400 bars was just the beginning,” Game stated.

After just releasing his mixtape Game has enjoyed a consistant buzz around his recent work, on both street level and on the internet.

The Album is reported to be hitting us now on June 29th.

Alchemist was yesterday at the centre of a fresh beef debate after the Producer updated his twitter status regarding Game’s latest ‘400 bars’ offering saying,

“400 bars=snooze. Less is more.”

A further update then added,

“I just got jumped by 75 bloods at the 7-11. thanx alot [Game].”

Not being one to lie down and accept this a tweet from Game himself in response read,

“[Alchemist] you already know me ALAN, don’t get ya teeth knocked out !!! then you can Snooze 4 real!”

Since then Alchemist has updated his twitter stating,

“For the record I don’t have actual beef with @Ihategame. That’s my brother! He was on my 1st album dummies remember.”

There has been no further word from Game himself on the subject, but we will keep an eye out and update should anything further develop.

Compton rapper Game has dropped his awaited track ‘400 bars’

The track is a monster 20:28 and is a feature from his upcoming mixtape ‘The red room’ with DJ Drama.

It is reported that Game pulled a 24 hour session in order to finish the track, which sees the Compton mega star rhyming over Jay Electronica’s “exhibit c”, the track was today leaked to the Internet.

This comes as The Game prepares to release the long awaited R.E.D album which is due to hit stores on June 15th, which this week saw Game confirm that he has reunited with superstar producer Dr Dre.

Reports from Allhiphop.com state that when they spoke with Game he described his upcoming album as “nothing short of incredible”

Speaking further to Allhiphop.com Game continues,

“I never felt this good and I’m not saying that because it’s my album. I’m not saying it because it’s my album and I have to promote it. If nobody don’t wanna buy my s**t, just leave it in the stores. I’m solidified in Hip-Hop. I aint got nothing else to prove, I beat the sophomore jinx, I’m on my fourth album. I felt like all my albums were classics in their own right. My favorite was The Doctors Advocate. But this R.E.D. album, it aint nothing to play with man.”

The first single from the album is titled “It must be me”

The “R.E.D.” album was originally expected to release as early as February this year but has been delayed twice. The album is Game’s fourth major studio project and sees him reunite with Aftermath Records. The album is now confirmed to drop on June 15^th this year with production from some of the major players including Dr. Dre and Pharrell.

Game had said that he was ready to retire after his “LAX” album in 2008 but decided to release another album titled “D.O.C” (Diary of Compton) with the help from original members of N.W.A. He decided not to release when it became apparent it wouldn’t be possible to get the input he needed from Dre, Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg.

In a previous interview Game explained the reason for the title “R.E.D”: “[What I was working on], the fans just started calling it R.E.D. for some reason, I don’t even know. I had [previously] said that I would re-dedicate myself to Hip Hop, and they just took that and was like R.E.D. – rededicated. I went along with it, man.”

The album looks to be a promising project, with backing from the Cool & Dre single “Shake” and production from some of the best in the industry.

Amidst rumours indicating that 50 Cent and Game have reignited their long standing feud, veteran producer/rapper Dr Dre has confirmed that both artists are to make an appearance on his forthcoming Detox album.

The statement came from Dre whilst promoting his Beats by Dre headphone line in New York on Thursday (November 19th), when reporters questioned the statement due to the very public dispute between the 2 artists ( 50 and Game), Dre told the RapRadar.com reporter “Everything is good, both guys are gonna be on my record” Dre stated, ” and you know, i’m just tryin to put it back where it supposed to be, all love”

Reports have constantly been arising of the delay of Dre’s ‘Detox album’ and when questioned about the release date of the forthcoming album Dr Dre could still offer no solid insight as to when it may hit the mainstream, “the minute it’s done, and it feels right to me, thats when it will come out, hopefully the beginning of the year” Dre reported.

Although it would appear that Dre has successfully managed to capture both artists on the forthcoming album, there is still no sign of the two rappers making up their long standing dispute, with 50 making claims that he will never work with Game again under any circumstances whatsoever, in an interview with MTV.com 50 states “ I wouldn’t do it, I’d  be on a record, on a song on the (Detox) album, but not that song” 50 states referring to working on the same song as Game.

It would appear that Game is taking a somewhat different approach to the situation and once again is suggesting that in the future he would work with 50. In an interview with complex magazine, when asked about the situation with 50 Game states, ” I mean i don’t know what 50’s problem is but i’m here”  he states, ” whenever he wants to call me on the phone and talk about it, squash it or we can keep going with this f**king child like antics, He can do it, i can do it, we can do it till we f**king  die,it makes me no difference man”.

Either way Detox is set to be a fantastic showcase of Dre’s ever present abilities, and is highly anticipated.
