Since his latest deal between his Gangland records and Island/Def Jam, Shyne is set to drop his first album in almost 10 years. It is reported that the single will drop next Tuesday (13th April).

In February reports emerged that Shyne had signed a 7 figure deal with Island/Def Jam and had started recording in Belize, due to Shyne being unable to enter the U.S and not being allowed to enter the U.K back in February due to his previous conviction.

Shyne was released from prison in October 2009 after serving over 9 years after his involvement in a night club shootout in 1999, an incident of which also involved Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his girlfriend at the time Jennifer Lopez.

Reports have suggested that Shyne is collaborating with Scott Storch who is rumored to be heavily involved in the production of his upcoming album.
