Rap megastar Lil wayne is reportedly selling his Miami Condo as he prepares for his 1 year prison sentence for weapons violations.
It is reported that he will be putting a $2.8 Million price tag on the Florida Condo, which has four bedrooms and is located in the Murano Grande Condominium.
Last year Finebeats reported on claims that Lil Wayne was having problems selling another of his properties in South Beach, ( a three bedroom, two bathroom condo) because of the smell of Marijuana smoke ! These were reports that Lil Wayne was quick to put to rest in an interview with famous DJ Tim Westwood, in his usual playful fashion,
“We’re not having trouble selling it, but all the other stuff is true,” Lil Wayne mused. “The people that are coming to look at it like that more about it That’s like coming into Bob Marley’s crib and you still smelling weed and his bed still messed up. They’re like ‘leave all that s**t. I want to buy all that. I’m one of those ni**as right now.”
Wayne Currently rents a 15,000 square foot mansion on La Gorce Island.
In October of 2009, Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon, after police found a loaded .40 caliber gun on his tour bus in July of 2008.
He is due to be sentenced to one year in prison on March 2.
