Grammy nominated rapper Flo-Rida has teamed up with the Grammy Foundation and is to perform an event on December 7th (2009) with all the proceeds going to Breast Cancer awareness.
The event will be held in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial hall where Flo-Rida alongside british act the Ting Tings will perform as part of the ‘Winter Blast’ event, with all proceeds going to the Glimmer of Hope Foundation, which is based in Pittsburg and has already raised millions towards Breast Cancer Research. The event is set to start at 7:30 on December 7th with tickets priced at $25 per person.
Flo-Rida’s R.O.O.T.S album was nominated for Grammy award Best Rap album of the year .
