Appearing on Anderson Cooper’s popular CNN show AC360, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs announced plans to start a business academy.

The show hosted by Wolf Blitzer standing in for Anderson Cooper, spoke to Diddy as the featured guest on the show . The main topic of discussion was Diddy’s image and whether or not he was seen as a positive role model for youngsters. Diddy used this opportunity to explain that he wanted to leave his bad boy image behind him and be recognised for his business skills.

“I want to take on more responsibility,” Combs said during the interview. “I’m still honestly in search of how I can have the most positive effect that I can have.”

He then went on to explain that he is planning to open a business school for upcoming entrepreneurs, and teaching them the methods of successful business. The school is expected to be opened in New York around the Harlem area.

Combs has shown his determination to leave his undesirable sections of his past behind him, including multiple incidents with the law including 2 major firearm incidents.

The first and most notable being when his close friend and label star Notorious B.I.G was assassinated back in March 1997. The second being when Diddy was involved in a shootout inside a Manhattan nightclub alongside his label artist Shyne and his girlfriend of the time Jennifer Lopez.

Diddy was eventually acquitted any charges although Shyne received 8 years for his involvement.

Since such incidents Diddy has moved forward and has made Billions across almost every conceivable area of business, including fashion, T.V, Liqour, Film and Records.

“It’s more than just about business,” Combs stated. “There’s more than I’m supposed to do, there’s more that I’m gonna do. I want to have an academy that’s known for building leaders. I feel that’s one of the things I can have an impact on.”
