According to Billboard, the album is projected to sell nearly 150,000 copies in its first week, which would make it the first digital-only album in history to debut at the top of the charts.
Featured on the album is Jay-Z’s high-profile collaboration with Bono of U2, Rihanna and The Edge, “Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour),” which was produced by Swizz Beatz.
According to MTV, the track is the No. 1 iTunes download in 12 countries.
The album itself was released following Friday’s (Jan 22) Hope for Haiti Now telethon, which has, to date, raised over $61 million in relief for Haiti.

The owners of a popular exotic auto dealership in Phoenix that was used by producer Swizz Beatz and other celebrities to purchase exotics cars, has been accused of massive fraud and using illicit money from Mexico to fund their businesses.
Swizz Beatz, who is the godfather to Nazreth Derboghossian and Jodi Upton’s 8-month old son, has bought or traded at least 25 cars through Exotic Auto and Leasing and Scottsdale Lotus.
In addition to Swizz Beatz, the dealerships counted Penny Hardaway, Mike Bibby and others as celebrity clients and specialized in customizing Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Mercedes-Benz’s.

It is reported that long time friend of Nate Dogg, Warren G, has stated that Nate Dogg is doing well in therapy, recovering from a stroke.
Since January of 2008 Nate Dogg has suffered 2 strokes, which have left him partially paralyzed and using an assisted breathing tube to make breathing easier.
“He’s in therapy getting himself together, that’s all I can tell people,” Warren G. told HardKnock.tv. “I see him any and every time I want to. It’s hard when you have somebody that got two strokes, usually the person don’t make it. But he’s strong. He’s getting good therapy and he’s pulling out of it.”
Warren G also stated that he is once again learning normal bodily functions and can now “lift his head up”
“It’s hard when you first have a stroke, you got to learn everything over again, Warren G. stated. “It’s like you’re a baby again. You gotta learn everything.”
With collaborations alongside artists like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Eminem, Fabolous and Warren G. and solo releases, Nate Dogg has sold close to 60 million records over the past 20 years.

Rapper Ja Rule could face over 3 years in prison over weapons charges, after a .40 caliber handgun was discovered alongside a small amount of Marijuana in one of his luxury vehicles in Manhattan in 2007.
According to the New York Post Ja Rule lost his bid to have the case tossed in Manhattan Supreme Court on Wednesday (20th Jan 2010) morning. Judge Richard Carruthers denied the motion to have the case dismissed.
At the time of the incident police had arrested Lil Wayne 1 hour prior to Ja Rules arrest, when police are alleged to have spotted Wayne and an acquaintance smoking Marijuana outside his tour bus, upon searching the bus police also retrieved a .40 caliber handgun. Upon taking a plea Wayne is due to begin an 8 month sentence next month.
Ja Rule real name Jeffrey Atkins is due to attend court on March 3rd this year and if convicted of the offence could face up to 3 1/2 years in prison.

Artist Waka Floka Flames, who is affiliated with Gucci Mane’s So Icey Entertainment, was shot today in what is thought to be a robbery.
Although details are still a little cloudy it is reported that the rapper was shot during a robbery in College Park, Georgia . It was reported that he was shot in the arm but the bullet went through his ribs. Waka Floka Flames is expected to make a full recovery.
He last performed at Georgia hotspot Tongue & Groove last night, and has been enjoying success with his single ‘ O Lets Do It’. The remix of the song features Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Trae Tha Truth
